Gird your loins, America:  in addition to mandatory private health insurance premiums, we may soon be hit with a mandatory savings tax and other belt-tightening measures, urged by Faux-bama's new "budget task force".  These radical measures will only make matters worse - a push for economic responsibility is based here on bad economics, I'd say.

I recently read an article by a "China-watcher" Prof. James Petras, and he feel strongly that this out of control administration is making it very difficult to come to agreeable terms with China about military, borders, independent nations, future trade agreements, just about anything.  Some of the reaons he gives:
