i only dream when i'm awake
failed aspirations and broken promises,
this is what keeps me awake at night,
i try to accomplish everything and nothing all at once,
contradiction is my only friend,
although it loves me not,
i love it still,i love it none,i love it all,
what i know is nothing and nothing is what i know,
what i've done is un-excusable and hateful,
what i will do is undetermined,
who i am i don't know,
maybe i am you,
maybe i am all of you,and nothing more,
for without you i am nothing,
i have no slumber,
no sweet dreams of my sub-conscience,
no revelations of self,
i cannot afford it, or produce the means to assume it,
therefore i must not need it,
if i am anything,i am the love i receive,
the love i need, the love i give,
without this love i am worthless,
within it my abilities are boundless,
if i can't have it all, i want none of it,
if i cant give all,
i will give nothing,
if i can't dream forever,
i will not dream at all,
