Education 4ALL

This is a sub-project of the 4ALLofUS Manifesto.

A dedicated area to formulate solutions for achieving 'Education 4ALL'.

A building block for a productive, healthy, technological, stable and resourceful society is education.

Our aim is to develop a new strategy for providing education to all children as well as adults who seek further education. The new modal shall likely include methods for screening information to ensure accuracy and impartiality and the emphasis will be placed on assisting individuals to be as knowledgeable as they can or want to be.

A good education system for all is a major undertaking on a national scale, but our aim is global. Many millions of children never get even the most basic of education and billions are trained to conform with little invested in knowledge or self expression.

The aim is to actually teach our children how to realise their own potential.

 

This area is set aside for proposed solutions and development to complement the framework of the 4ALLofUS Manifesto.

Grades

At present children are graded, A for Achiever down to F for Failure, or that is certainly how the grades can be and seemingly are interpreted.

This process begins with 'sats' at the age of 7 in the UK and continues throughout the education system to the end, end being degree's, bachelors, nvq's or whenever the pupil is no more. You leave education with a grade, a score, a mark of accomplishment or failure.

Passing along Knowledge

I like how this is explained - there's always a danger of indoctrinating instead of passing along knowledge, if a teacher's personal views on, say, biology or science are distorted and biased.  He'll pass that along to children and what do they get?  Not knowledge, just some teacher's idea of it.  Guiding children into opening their minds to all forms of learning should always be objective, impartial, and based on proven workable text books used for ages - which are continually updated. 

As for accessibility to the same top-grade education that little Johnny's rich parents give him, yes of course it should be just as available to little Jose whose parents are blue collar workers.  There really is a very obvious standard in our educational system that's biased toward the children of the rich or influential.  Gotta change that.
