Change 4ALLofUS
4ALLofUS is a working progress, always has been and likely always will be.
Already we have had to make many decisions, hundreds. Do we go this way, or that, do this or that, add this, remove that.
The process has been difficult and often poorly documented, incoherent, obscure which has at times caused unnecessary friction between members.
The aim of this project 'Change 4ALLofUS' is to create an open to all transparent method for both proposing changes as well as deciding whether or not to adopt said proposals.
The method for proposal and deciding is as follows.
1. Create an article explaining the proposed change;
Explain the problem or need.
Propose a solution.
Set a time limit for review, 1,2 or 4 weeks. Minimum 2 days, maximum 3 months.
2. Enter into a dialogue via the comment feature for the allotted time period;
If there are questions posed via comments and they are not addressed by the original poster this process will be considered null and void and the posting will be removed after 7 days.
3. Publish a summary of the review;
A revised proposal of the solution originally posted as well as any reasonable alternatives that were proposed.
4. Allow 24 hours for any objection to the summary to be raised;
5. Create a poll with a 7 day expiration period;
The poll should feature all of the viable options available as set out in the review (No.3).
'Change nothing' must be an option in the poll.
'Restart review process' (No.2) must be an option in the poll.
6. Accept the outcome;
If the poll results propose a change the 'Admin Team' will be set to task and will feedback with progress on a weekly basis until completion.
If the poll result is 'Change nothing' there will be a 28 day restriction on proposing the same original or revised solution and nothing will be done.
'Restart review process' (No.2) must occur for 7 days and the usual process, 3, 4, 5 will remain.
The Admin Team will consider every proposal on merit, taking into consideration our Ethos and Aims and will stop any proposals that are not in keeping with what we are working towards. An explanation will be published, but will not be open to review!

IT'S MY BELIEF WE MUST EMBRACE BOTH IN ORDER TO PROGRESS.
IT'S GRATIFING TO SEE WE HAVE A CATEGORY FOR CHANGE IN OUR COMMUNITY. SURELY WE CANNOT ALWAYS BE ON TARGET AND A VEHICLE FOR MAKING ADJUSTMENTS IS WISE.
SOMETIMES, HOPING IS NOT ENOUGH - A NEED FOR COMPROMISE IS ESSENTIAL, BECAUSE WE'RE ALL SEPARATE, DIVERSE HUMANS. WE SEE AND FEEL LIFE DIFFERENTLY. AND IN SOME AREAS, WE ARE IN COMPLETE AGREEMENT. SOUNDS LIKE A SOLID PLATFORM FOR GROWTH.
